trimm is an AI-assisted video editor. This policy explains what information trimm processes, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

Information we process

• Account information: identifiers and profile details supplied through our authentication provider, such as your email address.
• Media and project information: video, audio, transcripts, editing instructions, representative frames, and related project data that you choose to submit for cloud transcription or AI-assisted editing.
• Technical and security information: request identifiers, authentication and audit events, device/app version, and diagnostic data needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

How we use information

We process information to authenticate users, provide editing, transcription, export, and AI-planning features, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, maintain reliability, and respond to support requests.

Service providers

trimm uses service providers for authentication, hosting, storage/database services, speech transcription, and AI processing. Information is shared with these providers only as needed to deliver the requested feature, operate the service, or comply with law. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Storage and retention

Projects are primarily stored on your device. Media submitted for transcription is processed on our servers and may be temporarily retained to complete the request, recover interrupted uploads, and protect the service. Abandoned temporary uploads are scheduled for deletion. Account, security, and support records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and applicable legal obligations.

Your choices

You can choose not to use cloud-based features. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account information by contacting us. Deleting the app does not by itself delete an online account.

Children

trimm is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards and law.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
