How does Trimm work?

Trimm is a conversational AI video editor. Instead of learning complex timeline software, simply import your clips and tell Trimm what to do in plain English (e.g., "remove silences", "add subtitles", "crop to 9:16 for TikTok"). Trimm proposes the edits, lets you instantly preview them, and exports the final video right onto your camera roll.

Are my raw video files uploaded to your servers?

No. Your raw video files never leave your device. Video scrubbing, real-time timeline previews, compositing, effects, and final high-definition rendering are executed 100% on-device using native Apple AVFoundation frameworks. Only speech audio for transcription and your text editing prompts are sent to our cloud AI.

How do credits work?

Every new user receives 20 free starter credits upon signing up—enough to complete a full video edit. Credits are only deducted for cloud AI tasks like audio speech-to-text transcription and conversational editing planning. On-device previews and exporting videos to your Camera Roll are always 100% free and unlimited.

How can I purchase more credits or restore purchases?

You can purchase additional credit packs anytime via native Apple In-App Purchases within the app store sheet in Trimm. If you switch devices or reinstall the app, you can restore previous purchases by opening the Credit Store in the app drawer and tapping "Restore Purchases".

How do I delete my account or data?

You can request complete deletion of your account and associated cloud data at any time. Simply send an email to darshjain05.in@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will process and permanently remove your data within 30 days.
